Fourforty is a gravity focussed bike park located just 1 hour from Aucklands CBD and 45 mins from Auckland international airport. The name Fourforty comes from the vertical elevation of the hill. Its by far the premium destination for gravity mountain biking in the upper north island. Trails have been constructed by professional trail company Trailpro and include jumps, flow, tech and beginner trails.
The trails cater for beginner to expert riders, we have a dedicated uphill trail to access the lower half of the park as well as an uplift service. At the base area our facilities include a full retail shop, workshop, asphalt pump track, kids sand pit, coffee, food and rental bikes.
Trails range from grade 2 easy trails, jump trails, flow trails, single track and grade 6 downhill trails. Pay per uplift and midweek group bookings are available. Four forty has hosted national mountain bike events and has been rated as some of the best gravity trails in New Zealand.
Park facilities consist of a range of full suspension rental bikes, workshop, retail store and coffee and food.
You can either purchase a shuttle pass on the day you ride or pre book your riding in advance (recommended value for one off visits).
Uphill trail riding is now FREE! If you want to access some of 440's best trails under your own steam then there is now no charge. Please sign a waiver at the 440 shop before heading up.
