Braunton 150

The Braunton 150 is a 150 mile (241 km) mountain biking route which takes in (the very hilly) Exmoor National Park and coastlines of North Devon and Somerset.

The route was created as an Individual Time Trial (race against the clock) where you can set off at any time and have your total time recorded against others who’ve also done the whole route.

Exmoor offers wonderful lush green (big and steep) hills and lovely villages and tearooms along the way and is best tackled on a (hardtail) mountain bike or even a Gravel bike for experienced riders.

Getting there: Barnstaple has a train station, 6 mile (10 km) ride away from Braunton.
