West Highland Way


The West Highland Way is an 154km (96 mile) route which starts in Milngavie near Glasgow and continues north into the Highlands and finishes in Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains.

Normally the route is completed from south to north, tackling the easier southern stages first, and the more demanding northern stages later on.

At the end of this route, in Fort William, is the start of The Great Glen Way route, which continues on to Inverness, if you wanted to extend your adventure further...
