Sarn Helen

A 370km route which links ancient roads all the way across Wales, starting in Conwy (north coast) and finishing on the Gower Peninsula (south coast), across Snowdonia, Cambrians and the Brecon Beacons for some of country's best natutal riding, and best tackled over 6 days of riding.

Taking its name from Saint Elen of Caernarfon, a Celtic saint who supposedly ordered the construction of roads in Wales back in the 4th century. Following the way of the Roman road although parts have become lost or 'modernised', so the exact route is disputed.

You’ll cross the peaks of Snowdonia National Park, pass through the UK’s first trail centre at Coed-y-Brenin, ride over the Cambrian Mountains, and traverse the Brecon Beacons on this epic week-long trip that’ll give you a real flavour of the diverse landscapes of this country.
