Camel Cycle Trail


Following an old railway line, this relatively flat route extends for 19.5 km (12 miles) and is 96% traffic-free, passing through Cornwall’s picture-postcard countryside.

For families with children, the Camel Trail cycle route is not to be missed. This 18-mile route follows a disused railway line, so it’s completely flat and ideal for the youngest of cyclists. The most popular part of this trail is from Wadebridge to Padstow which has lovely costal views.

The trail is suitable for walkers, cyclists, horse-riders and wheel-chair users.  It falls into three main sections:
