Forest of Dean

Set in spectacular broad-leaved woodland, the mountain biking at Forest of Dean has undergone a renaissance in recent years, with a busy programme of trail building by dedicated volunteers, and the adoption and improvement of its network of informal downhill tracks.

The result of all this hard work is an amazing destination offering great for all abilities, with natural riding and signed routes providing riding for families, cross country, enduro and downhill riders.

Note: There has been a recent 9km (5.6 mile) addition to the red grade trails on offer, with the new Adit Trail opened in September 2022

The new sections are named Pig Track, Bluebells Climb, Boars Nest, Biscuits Bits, Sugar Rush, Cashbox, Super-cross, Stick Witch, TNT and Bear Trap.
