A 2.7km blue, Wee Toon Trail, offers easier cycling and fine views of Davaar Island and Campbeltown. Suitable for beginners & families this unsurfaced forest track has easy climbs and descents.
The 2km Red trail is harder work, with steeper, narrower and more technical, with berms, boardwalk, and drop-offs.
WHERE: Beinn Ghuilean, south western tip of the Kintyre Peninsula.
How to get there: From the Main Street in Campbeltown follow signs for the A83 to Machrihanish until you reach Witchburn road. After passing the Creamery turn left into Tomaig road. At the end of Tomaig road you will find a wooden gate into a field. Cross into the field using the style and follow the track trough the fields crossing two more styles to reach the woodland.
