Lecht MTB trails

The Lecht 2090 multi-activity centre in the Cairngorms, at 2090 feet (645m) above sea level, is Scotlands 3rd largest ski centre, but in the summer months it offers two Mountain Bike Downhill trails, a red and a blue (both with chair lift access) and a skills park.

From the top of the Snowy Owl chairlift, there is a short section of access trail then both trails begin, sharing the same first few hundred metres at the top before they split.

The Blue Hare Trail: 1.9 km long with a well-groomed surface has lots of relatively easy jumps, bomb holes, and bermed corners, with alternative lines and passing places.

The Red Fox Trail: 1.6km and a descent of 1,600m offers more challenging riding on rocky terrain, with dirt jumps, bomb holes and berms .

Skills Park: A Skills park with various wooden features.
