Hurstwood MTB Trails

The trail at Hurstwood is currently only around 1.6km (1km of trail and 0.6km of fire road), graded Blue, so is best suited for families and beginners, but there are some more challenging natural routes to explore from here too.

Natural Trails:

Route 1: Pennine Bridleway and Rams Clough at 7km, with 188 metres of climbing, using (mostly) surfaced bridleways.

Route 2: Coal Clough Wind farm to Hurstwood and Back at 8.5km and 202 metres of climbing. Starting at the Coal Clough wind farm, it joins a section of the Mary Townley Loop to the Hurstwood trail, before retracing it steps back to the car park.

Route 3, Duke's Cut and Gorple Stones: 25.8km 580m climbing - a demanding route, crossing open moorland, offering great views and rideable all year round, although it is exposed!

Where: Worsthorne Moor car park, Hurstwood, BB10 3LH
