Not technically a Trail centre in the traditional sense, and not exactly natural trails, but there are so many superb, and now legit, trails in Caberston Forest aka the Golfie, just north of Innerliethen, that it is one of the top destinations to head for experienced riders looking top quality and technical riding.
WHERE: Car park as you start on the B709 Leithen Road or the car park at Victoria Park and ride up the road.
Note: Don't park at the gate to the forest as it belongs to the local Golf Club. The way up starts on left of golf club house, left then right at fire road junctions you come to. This will take you to top of flat white area, where it is then left up through the trees to the moor.
