Sutton Park


This 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve is located 6 miles north of Birmingham city centre, and is one of the largest urban parks in Europe. The park has open heathland, woodlands, seven lakes, wetlands, and marshes and has cattle and wild ponies grazing on the land.

Cyclists are permitted to use the network of bridleways around the park - see the PDF map. 

As well as a visitor centre, where you can can nice coffee and cake from the food van, there are also some restuarants and a cafe by Blackroot Pool/Hartopp car park.
