Bike Corris is driven by Dave's wish for mountain biking to inspire him, and to be inspiring to others. He wants to leave the sport better for the next generation by protecting the trails riders have created, and instilling a sense of responsible enjoyment in the next generation.
A keen and experienced mountain biker, Dave has over 25 years global riding experience and has spent half of those getting to know the Dyfi area like the back of his hand. From Gravel to Gravity, he’s happy to ride anything and knows the just the trail to make you smile.
Set in the grounds of our former quarry master’s house, we have two unique spaces designed to help guests get the best from their visit to Dyfi. Each cabin is a self-contained space for your group, extending outside to a BBQ and firepit each. Guests are welcome (and encouraged) to explore the shared areas of the garden.
Off Grid Living - Although connected to mains water, both Cabans are powered solely by a 12-Volt solar PV system. There are USB and cigarette-lighter sockets for charging phones and tablets, but no mains power. Each cabin has its own compost-toilet and gas powered shower in a separate block a few steps from the accommodation. No sharing bathrooms here!
We hope this “back to basics” feel will give you the chance to unplug from modern life and enjoy Dyfi to the full.
