Bellingham, Washington

Bellingham and Whatcom County offer riding from flat, wide-open paths up to big stunts and screaming downhill runs.

Galbraith Mountain was ranked (by Singletracks.com) as the best place to MTB in the Washington state. Located between Lake Padden and Lake Whatcom and officially named North Lookout Mountain. Privately owned land, the trails are maintained by the WMBC (Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition) for non-motorized use.

WMBC also maintains the Bellingham Dirt Jump Park at Civic Field, located near the skateboard park on Puget Street one block south of Lakeway Drive. The park includes a variety of jumps including 2-foot, 3-foot, 5-foot and 7-foot for riders of all ability levels. A 15-foot high roll produces the needed speed for the runs. And there is a pump track downtown at the waterfront, near Waypoint Park.
