Train Bike Bags

Posted on October 14 in General

Anyone who has travelled with their bicycle on public transport, especially in the UK, will know how flipping difficult and frustrating it can be. And now the government have all but decriminalised bike theft from train stations if the bike has been left for more than 2hrs!

Taking your bike on the train often requires booking it a space, if you can, but you are still usually restricted to travelling outside of busy periods or just hoping there aren't any other people with bikes too, otherwise you could be left standing at the station for some time. But did you know that if you can take the wheels off and cover the bike, it becomes 'oversized' luggage, so you can/should, be able to take it on the train?!

This is where this train specific bike bag comes in super handy, designed to be light enough to ride with, but tough and protective enough to carry and protect your bicycle during travel. It also complies with various European railway companies such as SNCF, so you should be good for getting across most of Europe too.
