Food & Accommodation: Breakfast, post-ride snacks (including Mrs D's award winning cakes) and evening meals are all included. All of the accommodation is very cyclist friendly and well equipped for our needs - we will be staying at The Eagles Bunkhouse in Penmachno, Plas Isa bunkhouse in Dolgellau, The Haford Hotel in Devils Bridge, The Level Crossing bunkhouse in LLandovery and Absolute Adventure bunkhouse in Pen-y-Cae.

NOTE: Most rooms will be sleeping 2-4 people so you will be sharing, so it's maybe worth getting yourself a friend or 3 to join you.

Is it for you?: If you want to set yourself a big challenge for 2015, have an amazing adventure, experience Wales's finest trails (both natural and man-made), ride with like minded people, and want the security of vehicle and rider support and guidance, luggage transfer and none of the organisational hassle and headaches, yes this event is for you.

NOTE: This route does not shy away from the tough technical and remote terrain. If fact it seeks it out, so you need to be a physically fit and technically competent rider i.e. enjoy Red grade trails and be able/willing to ride hard for 6 days.

What we do: We organise all the accommodation, meals, bake snacks, transport luggage, food, water, tools, spare bikes, parts, and riders if necessary, in our 2 support vehicles. We also have 3 or 4 experienced riders out with you. These guys know the route, carry emergency equipment and know what to do with broken bikes and people. They are there to keep an eye on the group, ride at the different paces if required, show you where to go and generally help out where, if and when possible.

Things not included: Insurance, lunch, beers and transport to and from the start and finish (but see below).

NOTE: This is your adventure and you are responsible for your own safety and well being at all times during the trip, Rough Ride Guide cannot accept any liability for injuries or damages.

TRANSPORT: If you can't get dropped off at the start or picked up from the finish, there are train stations at either end and the journey costs around £30 and involves just 1 change. We have also arranged for some long term car parking permits at either ends - pre-booking required, please ask.

LAST YEARS EVENT: Was amazing. We had a great group of riders, who pretty much rode together throughout and still keep in touch, arranging get togethers and rides on each others local soil.

We  had the excitement of using the group shelters on top of the Black Mountain. Graham thought he broke his neck and was stretchered off the mountain on day 5 - thankfully it was just a collarbone! Chris had to get on the spare bike before he even got out the car park of his hotel on the VERY first morning. Lucy got her porridge every morning. Ben rode it solo - and made it! Stefan and Raf from Belgium discovered just how hilly and technical the riding in Wales is. Terry developed a bottom to make a baboon proud and John proved that the oldest member of the group was King of the Mountain.

Some comments from last years riders...

"I've ridden a lot of places, done a lot of events and been on a lot of MTB holidays, but this is by far the best thing I have EVER done on my MTB"

"An adventure of a lifetime. I'm so proud to have completed it and so pleased it was with such a great bunch of people"

"By far the most fun, challenging and best organised MTB holiday I've ever done...and I have done a lot"
