A small area, but offers some great, well thought out and maintained trails (by local riders/volunteers), The Steyning Downland scheme offers a great opportunity for MTB'ers of all ages and skills to enjoy some fun trails in this woodland near Steyning.
Blue (XC) for intermediate riders with all rollable features, Red (DH) for advanced riders with small drops and jumps and also a Black trail for experts, with huge drops and jumps.
No facilities, but Steyning is just 5 minutes away and offers shops and cafes, etc, such as the Sussex Produce Cafe on the high street. The trails, especially the roots, get slippery when wet.
WHERE: Park on Mouse Lane and follow the bridleway up to the top of the Downs, where the runs all start from.
