The Lomond Trossachs Loop is a 300km bikepacking route around the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in Scotland
Tour it or challenge it as an ITT under the standard self-supported rules.
300km and 6,000 metres of climbing, along a mix of singletrack, forestry tracks and road, including some short A-road links. There are several river crossings and one short pathless section across boggy ground
The route crosses high mountain terrain and rivers that can be dangerous if in spate. You should be prepared for bad weather and have the ability to navigate and fix your own mechanicals. There are some sections that are far away from roads and rescue cannot be relied upon.
