This gravel route is situated at altitude, on the sunny side of the upper Maurienne valley. Starting from the hamlet of Villaron with warm-up on the plain of Bessans, in the heart of the Alps, passing villages that seem to have been lost in nature where time has stopped.
The trails are quite technical and hilly for gravel riding and changeable mountain weather should be catered for.
