The Somerset Circle is a work in progress, on a 122km (76 mile) mostly traffic-free circuit which will link Bristol, Bath, the Mendip Hills, with the Somerset Levels and the coast.
Over two thirds of this potential route has already been completed, and includes the Colliers Way, the Strawberry Line, Two Tunnels Greenway, the Bristol & Bath Railway Path, and the River Avon Trail.
Work is ongoing to complete the spectacular Shepton Viaducts trail north of Shepton Mallet, and to include Colliers Way all the way into the heart of Frome, for a picturesque spur to the town, as will the Pier to Pier Way between Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare.
Route type: Long Distance Circular
