This route does a full 360 degree ride that circumnavigates the city of Bristol, offering a challenging 110km route over 1-day, or of course you can enjoy it over 2, or ridden as 2 loops; Southern and Northern.
Offering a mixture of farm tracks, singletrack, bridleways and rocky byways, linked with quiet country lanes and minor roads, make it suitable for MTB's and Gravel bikes, albeit with a few technical sections along the way to watch out for if riding on the latter.
You can ride out to the circuit from Bristol, on the traffic-free Bristol to Bath Railway Path, and then follow the loop in a clockwise direction, along the southern loop (riding the more challenging terrain first). The route takes in Ashton Court and Leigh Woods and the Pill Path alongside the River Avon, past Blaise Castle Estate out into quieter surroundings.
Route type: Long Distance Circular
