Altra Badia, Gravel, Italy

55km gravel loop, may not particularly long, but it packs in a good amount of climbing to make it a challenging ride.

Starting in San Cassiano the route heads south to Pralongiá and then joins the bottom of the Passo Campolongo road climb. Afterwards, heading northwest to Colfosco then east to the heart of Corvara town the route heads back north along the valley to Badia and La Val, before crossing the river and back south to San Cassiano.

Getting there: To drive it takes around 14 hours from the Eurotunnel/Dover.

Plenty of hotels to choose from, and the Sass Dlacia campsite (which is at 1,680 metres high, makes it the highest in the Dolomites).
