A short 12km circuit from Utrecht railway station, home to perhaps the world’s biggest cycle parking, with room for 12,500 bikes.
The route heads along Catherijnsingel's motorway that became a canal, and includes possibly the world’s oldest bike path (in Utrecht, Maliebaan), installed in 1885, and also the world’s longest rainbow-painted cycle path (at just shy of 600m long).
