There are 7 days of routes recommended and the Wetterflucht - but note, if the weather is bad in the higher part of the Pyrenees, you should definitely take a detour to Ainsa. The trails here are a lot of fun and the climate is more favorable. An e-bike would also be perfect here.
- On the first day of the explorer trip, after the long car ride, we were able to really enjoy the leisurely climb on Spanish soil. The dark tunnels provided a dose of adventure, and the subsequent enduro descent aroused great anticipation for the next few days.
- The absolute highlight tour on our explorer trip. That's why it is an integral part of our annual Pyrenees Enduro trip. As with many trails, this one has to be earned first. Earned means carrying for a long time, and no chance uphill even with an e-bike. To do this, you end up in a complete lunar landscape. The trail surface is perfect. Loose but still have good controllable grip. If you have the necessary fitness for the climb, you will love the descent.
- Almost like on a classic Transalp stage, you change valleys here. It feels like you are leaving a Spanish valley and ending up in what is supposed to be Canada. On the descent, the lake offers an impressive backdrop and the terrain makes every biker's heart beat faster. But the whole thing has to be earned. To get to the trail, you first have to carry the bike up to 100 meters in altitude. But it's worth it
- Yes, it can rain on an explorer trip in the Pyrenees. But that didn't stop us from riding this brilliant trail. The upper part of the trail is quite flowing and runs through meadows. Once you've arrived in the forest, an absolute downcountry highlight follows: It's imp ortant to always keep pressure on the pedal. The final part is even rougher, but also really easy to drive. An absolute recommendation!
- A wonderful tour with varied trails and impressive panoramic views above Bielsa. First there is a long uphill climb over pleasant gravel paths before the bike has to be carried at the top. The descent is easy to ride at the top, but you should always stop and enjoy the views because of the views. A real enduro trail follows in the forest. It's steep and technical, going downhill at speed over roots and forest floor.
- The border tour back to France. First you have to push 700 meters in altitude, which would be easy to ride on an e-bike. This is followed by a beautiful trail through a breathtaking valley. The trail is never harder than S2. After a short asphalt road, the last part leads to three built trails, which are also shuttled by locals. The highly recommended trails are divided into blue, red and black.
- The last trail on the explorer trip is an absolute must do! In terms of difficulty, the trail is classified as black and the path should be reasonably dry.
