This 607km (377 miles) route starts from Bristol and passes through south Wales to Fishguard on the west coast of Wales.
Following a network of dedicated cycle routes in the National Cycle Network along former railway lines, through valleys, along beautiful coastlines, through tunnels and over mountains it provides a wonderful range of riding.
What bike: A hybrid or gravel bike is perfect, although a road bike would manage ok as although there are several sections of railway path on compacted earth and fine gravel, it is rarely too rough.
