An epic 486km (302 miles) which provides a very challenging route around the Sierra Nevada National Park, just 30km from the Mediterranean coastline.
Ride trails, dirt tracks, and roads through this spectacular region, climbing mountains of over 2,000 metres, passing through six different regions: the Lecrín Valley, the Western Sierra Nevada, Guadix and the Marquesado del Zenete, Río Nacimiento, the Alpujarra in Almeria - Alto Andarax and the Alpujarra in Granada.
How to get there: Fly to Malaga (EasyJet is around £150 plus £45 for bike bag each way) and then a 2hr drive east to Cadiar.
