The Chilterns lies just west of London, running between Swindon and Luton, and it provides lots of superb singletrack trails over the undulating hills and through the beautiful beech tree woodlands, abundant with wildlife, such as shy Muntjac and regal Fallow deer, to majestic Red kite birds soaring in the skies above.

The terrain is not particularly technical but gets more challenging the faster you ride the twisting single-track, so a lot of the routes are perfect for Gravel and Leisure / Hybrid bikes, if ridden with more care.

Explore the long rolling historic Ridgeway trail in the south or take on the rooty woodland singletrack trails and short sharp hills to the north but know that wherever you choose to explore you will be very pleasantly surprised at the glorious countryside and fabulous trails on offer in this stunning part of the country. It is also very well served with lots of amazing local independent cafes, pubs, breweries, vineyards and local shops along the way too.
