We have been proudly working with the British Heart Foundation for nearly 20 years, starting our journey together with the design and organisation of the London to Brighton Off-Road bike ride which now has around 3,000 cyclists participate in every year and raises over £500,000 each year.
We have now designed and worked on a huge number of events with the charity, both on-road to off-road bike rides, as well as walks and runs all across the country, and overseas, both single-day and multi-day, providing around 50 bespoke events over the years, and raising millions of pounds of profits in sponsorship.
We are proud to be working for this wonderful children's hospice based in London.
We designed a lovely off-road cycle rides from the hospice in Woodford, offering 10km, 25km and 55km route options along lovely gravel tracks, to suit a whole range of riders, from familys (with members as young as 6 yrs old), to experienced riders (considerably older than 6), along beautiful, safe and enjoyable traffic-free tracks. With just a modest 100 riders in the first year the event raised around £20,000 of profit for the hospice.
We have been travelling the country far and wide, riding and writing the route guides and Big Ride Guide articles for every issue of MBUK (and its former sister magazine What MTB) for over 15 years!
That's literally hundreds and hundreds of routes we've test ridden and are now adding to our Routes page, to provide you with an awesome database of potential riding, for free! Happy riding.
We work with this wonderful charity, designing events such as Round the Harbours bike ride, and city centre walks with a selection of distances, to suit all abilities, while exploring the interesting sites.
We have designed and signed routes across the country, such as in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester and Birmingham, to create an enjoyable and successful series of walks which raise important money and awareness for the charity.
We are proud to have worked with Cycling UK over a number of years, designing and writing routes and guides for the EXPERIENCE project.
We have also worked on the long distance routes and written the guidebooks for the following trails:
Great North Trail a 1,300km route from the midlands to Cape Wrath and John o'Groats
Cantii Way a 234km route around the Kent countryside and coastline
North Downs Way Riders Route a 275km across the Surrey Hills and Kent Downs to the south coast
