Let Rough Ride Guide take the strain, supporting you the fabulous King Alfred's Way route over 5 days, giving you time to visit and enjoy the sights along the way and meet with other like-minded riders on this epic adventure.

Our support vehicle not only offers baggage transfer, but refreshments and repairs too, and organisation of hotels and stops so you can relax in knowing you will be safe and well looked after throughout, no matter what happens with you, the weather or your bike!

Starting in Winchester the King Alfred's Way travels 350km's through counties including Wessex, Wiltshire, Berkshire and Surrey, along old drove roads such as the Ridgeway, and some of the South Downs Way. Sights such as Stonehenge, Wayland Smithy, White horses and Iron Age forts can be seen along the route, which is predominantly off-road, but not too technically challenging.
